The DEFA SmartCharge 10A is a compact fully automatic battery charger for all types of lead-acid batteries (acid, AGM, GEL and EFB, AGM start-stop batteries).
The battery's state of charge is reliably detected and charging takes place depending on the battery capacity as well as the ambient temperature. Only one switch is required to operate the SmartCharge - On/Off.
DEFA SmartCharge detects the capacity and adjusts the charging current to the state of charge and the temperature conditions. It is not possible to overcharge the battery.
Connect the terminals to the battery poles, connect the charger to the 230V mains and press the On/Off switch. SmartCharge does the rest. The display shows the current charging status. If 14.7V is desired as the final charging voltage, simply press the 14.7V button.
Power supply when changing batteries:
If the on/off switch is pressed for 5 seconds, the SmartCharger becomes a power source. Practical when changing batteries, the radio code and other settings are retained.
The SmartCharge has an easy-to-read display. It is possible to increase the charging voltage if necessary.
The compact SmartCharge is a simple, small and lightweight solution. The connection cable is attached to the underside of the charger when not in use. The connection terminals are clamped to the side of the housing.
SmartCharge is short-circuit proof. Sparking when connecting the charging cables is avoided.
SmartCharge can be used in a variety of ways in conjunction with additional accessories.
