Fronius ACCTIVA Twin 15A with CAN Fire
The Acctiva Twin has two charging circuits and enables charging of several batteries of different sizes, e.g. When setting up a 24 V on-board supply from two 12 V batteries connected in series, the Acctiva Twin ensures equalization of different states of charge, even if the two batteries are loaded differently by 12 V and 24 V consumers. The intelligent electronics monitor the charging processes, compensate for different states of charge in the case of serially connected batteries and avoid premature failure due to imbalances. The pre-programmed charging characteristic always guarantees the optimum charging current in relation to the battery size and the battery condition.
FireCAN transmits device status as well as battery voltage and can read out the following faults:
Reverse polarity, short circuit, battery fault. The integrated error memory records the last 10 errors that occurred.
